Brief: how to catch a mouse without killing it

My second ever time dealing with stop motion animation..... and I quite enjoy it! Me and my team made this in one day (filming plus editing). 

Side note I'm actually the voice of the guy (Bob the house owner). I sound so YORKSHIRE.

TUMBLEWEED- THINGS THAT INSPIRE ME

Hey guys, just a heads up that L.F DOES ART has upgraded to L.F GRAPHIC DESIGN! My new blog has all my uni' and F.A.D work but none of my GCSE.

 I've found Tumblr is generally a better format for my graphic design related work so please go to the link above from now on.

I won't be closing this blog but I'm less likely to update regularly. I might periodically do one update post of work I've done.

It's a fresh start for me and a good transition from me doing 'art' to graphic design!

BACK TO BALTIC

Unfortunately I can't show you the awesome exhibitions at the BALTIC so please visit the website! Got some really really exciting things going on.

ALSO major cool news is that The Turner Prize for the first time ever will not be held at the TATE but at the BALTIC. SWEEEEEET. I think four nominees will have an exhibition of their entry work so I am major excited for that (late October).

AND lastly I finally got to see some Damien Hirst work in real life a month ago! I might of accidentally seen his stuff in London but not realised, but this time in Leeds they had a mini exhibition going on and I got to see the famous sheep in formaldehyde (away with the flock) which was amazing because I actually did a critical entry on that piece. Again photos were not aloud :((((

Had to collect my accessed work yesterday. I did a quick flick through my sketchbooks thinking.. shit I really did submit that. I find out my results next week (3rd June). I am SO x1000 nervous, a years work comes down to this final grade!

ANYWAY the show is tonight! But I don't fancy taking my big old camera around with me as I can predict the show will just be flooded with people anyway. I am however on guarding duty on Saturday, so I will go round taking some photos of peoples work.

From Illustrator workshop

FINAL MAJOR PROJECT- PEAR-NALE

 

 

I've gone digital! After yesterdays screen printing fiasco the only logical alternative was to turn to Illustrator to recreate what I was trying to achieve.
And since 8:30 am- 2:00pm I've finished (NOTE I AM A COMPLETE COMPUTER NOOB)!

The above is the exactly the same as what I was wanting to do but instead of A2 they will be A3 (space not necessary).
So 9 weeks has resulted to these wall hangings or posters. I think I've developed as a designer to consider function over form.
